Confession:
I’ve never forgiven Marvel for not including the canon first class in the X-Men: First Class movie. Especially Jean Grey. She was the whole reason I wanted that fucking movie and she wasn’t even in it. I do not approve of this. It’s Jean fucking Grey. It’s bad enough they butchered her story line in X3, but to completely leave out her origin story was bullshit and I’m not over it. Not ever.

And suddenly, Regina/Jean feels. Because apparently that’s a thing that I ship now. There may be a rather alarmingly detailed Marvel-verse AU developing to support it. As crossovers go, it actually works surprisingly well. It doesn’t hurt that all the Storybrooke characters’ FTL names are basically readymade X-Men handles.
*sigh*
This is horrible idea with the potential for cosmic (literally) amounts of angst and I’m going to regret it, I just know it.
