This was the hardest character to cast for me, if only because she’s so central to the imagery of the myth as a whole. Not that Hades isn’t, but I was already envisioning her as Katie McGrath by the time I started reading the book, so… not much room for conflict there. I finally settled on Emma because she was the closest match to “my” Persephone, both in appearance and mannerisms. That and I just really like the idea of her and Katie having sex.
